About me
Hi there,
I'm Elnaz, a UX/UI designer. Join me as I share my journey into the world of UX/UI design!
One of my earliest realizations was my deep curiosity for learning and understanding systems. This passion led me to pursue a degree in science, where I focused on research and problem-solving. However, I soon realized that something was missing I craved more human interaction.
To fill this gap, I transitioned into teaching English, using my language skills to support and connect with people. Teaching not only allowed me to help students, but it also sparked my interest in understanding learning behaviors and improving user experiences in education. Over more than 10 years in this field, I realized that the repetitive nature of teaching limited my ability to fully engage in research and problem-solving. While I remained passionate about these aspects, the predictability of the patterns made it less fulfilling over time.
This realization reignited my curiosity and led me to pursue a second master’s degree in Computer Science, where I discovered a new passion for analyzing systems, optimizing experiences, and solving complex problems.
After relocating to Canada, I saw a unique opportunity to redefine my career path. I embarked on a deep exploration of my skills, knowledge, and passions. Through this journey, I recognized the potential to transition into UX/UI design—a field that had always intrigued me. I encountered a UX/UI boot camp that immediately captured my attention. As I delved deeper into the discipline, I realized that UX/UI design seamlessly integrates research, human connection, and creativity, offering me the chance to analyze user behavior, identify problems, and craft intuitive solutions.
Since then, I have been captivated by the boundless opportunities for problem-solving and innovation within the realm of user experience. With my strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and innate creativity, I believe this field is the perfect avenue to channel my strengths.
In addition to UX/UI design, I have a passion for designing and crafting jewelry. I’ve created some beautiful pieces using gold, silver, and copper, and I’m eager to design and craft even more.
